More about Everything

I think I'm getting better, Its only been 3 weeks since my last post. Anyways, I haven't actually recorded anything yet, other than the unofficial first single, "Eyes Wide Closed." I did record Misinterpretation, but we are redoing that track so yeah..... However, the majority of the mixtape is already written. I only have about 5 or 6 songs left to actually write for. At this point its just matching beats, and such. The tracklisting is out, I'll post that up in a second. The full tracklisting will be out once I figure out who all I want on this track "Soldier." But there is a woman by the name of Tinisha , at my school who is an amazing alto, and she has agreed to sing on a track. As well as my good friend, Street Light, whose label I almost ended up signing with. I did two different guest appearences on his album. But yeah I added a few new tracks to the list. A poem, two "singing" songs, and 2 more "rapping" songs. I'm currently working on "Gospel Lyricism II," "I Win, I Lose," and "Signs of The Times." That last one is the one Tinisha will be on. Very chill vibe to that one. I think you guys will really enjoy this project. I just want to put this out there that my producer is a beast. Like Christopher Duncanson is a genius when he puts his fingers to those keys. I thank God I met him, no homo. lol. Anyways, I gotta get back to doing what I do. The first official single will be, "Heaven." Although, its a song i came out with like 3 mixtapes ago, its being reinvented. I knew I wanted it as a single but I didn't want to put it as my first single, but because I love this mixtape so much there are just too many tracks that I just couldn't bare to let you hear before the entire project came out. And then there are a few that just aren't "single" material. Anyways, just thought I give you guys an update on the mixtape. Stay blessed, and pray for me, as I will for you. Peace. *sidenote* Kirk Franklin's next album drops March 22nd! "Hello Fear." That man is a genius, in ALL senses of the word.

Beginning Stages. *Nuff Said*

So I wrote my first full "singing" song this weekend, "The Rain." My boy, Christopher Duncanson is a monster producer. He produced the song. He's also singing on it as well as my friend, J. Nole. We should be recording that sometime this week. I'm also working on a song called "Daydreams and Nightmares" produced by my friend Ti. And another song, that I haven't titled yet produced my my friend JC. There's a few different producers on the album, Christopher Duncanson is the main producer tho. But those 3 songs are the ones I'm working on currently. I don't think I'll release any of them as singles tho. We'll see how they play out tho. I have at least another 5 songs completely written. Just working on production at this point. Man am I glad I met this dude Chris. Be blessed.

Nuff Said ReInvented

Yes I'm a horrible person. Go ahead and say it. I know you were thinking it. You may not feel that way after you understand what all I've been up to. So lets start from the beginning. I did a few concerts over the summer. Got in real good with this record label U-N-I Ministries. They were in the process of signing me when I realized I need to finish up school. So I enrolled in at Oakwood University. I was still trying to come out with "Nuff Said," but they informed me that they were relocating to Florida. So that was about it for my record deal. And after moving down here I just kinda stopped writing music all together. I started concentrating more on my poetry. Also, going here, with this being a "Musical" school, I kind of reconnecting with my singing? lol. Especially after my boys in Committed got their record deal. (They go/went to my school.) Anyways. I am really changing my style around. Which leads me to my biggest point. I've changed my name from Bygg Chryz to Jus Chris. It just fits me more. It fits my music more. Nuff Said is back on, just in a different direction. It's no longer an album but rather a mixtape. Reason being, I don't really care to make money off of this, I just really like making music. So if I don't have to get all the music original, then I can use beats with samples and so on and so forth. Anyways, I did leak one song from the album over the summer. I'm pretty sure I'll be putting it on the album. Just stay tuned to the blog for progress about the mixtape.Sorry again that I made you wait so long. The album is set to drop April 19th. Ill try and drop a single in Feb. and another one in March. I'll show a few promos for the album cover whenever I do the photoshoot. I make let the people decide which should be the cover. Anyways thats enough. Stay blessed people.

Apologies.

I'm so sorry people. I don't know what else to tell you. School has been kicking my tail. I'm finally done with my Associates in Pre-Pharmacy, and I only have two more classes until I get my Associates in Social Work. Now I'm off to Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama, to get my B.S. in Biochemistry. Then its off to either University of Illinois in Chicago, or Purdue University for my Pharm.D. But enough about me, how about the music. Well, as far as my music goes I have really been into Nuff Said. I have about 5 tracks completely written so far. About another 4 in the works. I have a few different producers, so you get a variety of styles on the album. I'm actually producing a few of the tracks. Maybe like 3-5. There are 18 tracks on the album. Thers no definite release date yet, because i'm still trying to get studio time and what not. There are a few different guest appearances, including Street Light, JermainEvent, Fehann...just to name a few. I believe you'll be very pleased with this album. It is still entitled "Nuff Said." I'm trying to get the first single out sometime in August. I haven't actually decided what that song will be yet. I have an idea, but we'll see. Umm, I also haven't decided on the price of the album yet, whatever it is i'm trying to make it as cheap as possible. But I have to sell this one because the album is going to cost a nice buck to produce. As premature as this is, I also have a title for my next album, "All I've Ever Known." So yeah we here at Oh My Productions are doing big things. Lol. This is def my longest blog by far. Ummm check me out on twitter @byggchryz. I'm very excited about the album. I should be posting something new sometime this week. Hopefully, I'll be able to get a preview of the album out really soon, and give you the tentative playlist because thats pretty much settled on. If you know of any producers let me know. I think thats about it. Be blessed. Annnnnnd the Album for this month is a classic. None other than, The Nu Nation Project - Kirk Franklin. My favorite song on this album would have to be, Hold Me Now. Alrighty then folks, thats all from Bygg Chryz for today. I think this should last you until we next me. lol. Laters.
